On April 8, at the University of Rijeka, the ceremonial signing of the contract for the financing of student projects in 2022, realised on the basis of the competition of the Student Union of the University, took place.

In addition to the representatives of student organisations, student groups and individual students, the Rector of the University and the Deans of the individual faculties were also present at the signing ceremony.

The Student Union of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management requested and provided funding for four projects: Split the week conference, Hotel Ball 2022, MEKST and Wave for tourism student conference.

The existence of such competitions encourages students and student organisations to undertake a range of activities and projects, helps to enhance the quality of life for students, and raises the academic community's awareness of volunteerism in the broader community, which is a priority in the continuation of SC FTHM.

It will also better inform and educate students on the basics of submitting project ideas, project implementation, and project management.
