In the summer semester of the academic year 2017/2018 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the following lifelong learning programs were held: "Camping Resort Management, " attended by 37 participants from Croatia and the neighboring countries. Other programs held were "Chinese Language in Tourism for Beginners" and "Business Communication in Chinese for Beginners,"which were successfully completed by 18 participants.

There is a new Chinese language teacher Yang Yi for this academic year who will remain at the Faculty for the next academic year. These programs are held in cooperation with the city of Opatija and the Chinese Embassy

The following courses have been completed:

"Foreign Languages in Tourism for the Beginners," which  have been organized and adapted only for the Faculty students from this academic year. The language courses in German, Italian, and French were held, and the courses were successfully completed by 40 participants.

For the first time, the course "English for private accommodation renters" was held at the Faculty, which successfully completed 8 participants.

We hope that in the following academic year the courses for private renters will be held  in other languages as well.

In cooperation with TB Opatija and Association of the City of Opatija Renters, a course "German Language for Private Accommodation Renters" was held in the premises of the Association, and the course was successfully completed by 17 participants.
