In April 2018, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce organized a competition for educational institutions under "We buy Croatian" action for primary and secondary schools, faculties, and higher education institutions.

In the category of faculties and institutions of higher education, the FTHM team consisted of three full-time graduate students and one undergraduate student: Marijela Begović, Diana Cokarić, Jelena Kapeš and Ivana Vrdoljak, under the mentorship of prof. Ph.D.  Lorena Bašan and Ph.D. Ana Čuić Tanković.  They submitted a project assignment with the topic "We buy Croatian."

This project assignment won the 1st place at the mentioned competition and was rated as the best team work.

A special acknowledgment by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce was given to the students and their mentors  by Josip Zaher, a Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, as a part of the opening ceremony of "We buy Croatian" held in Rijeka, on June 8, 2018.
