On May 27, 2022 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management Management of the University of Rijeka the promotion of the 6th generation of participants of the "MKR Program" was celebrated under the leadership of professor Josipa Cvelić Bonifačić, Ph.D., program manager and expert team of staff.
The Dean of the Faculty, professor Sandra Janković, Ph.D., the representative of the Croatian Tourist Board, Mr. Jure Galić and the representative of the Kvarner Tourist Board, Mrs. Marica Mogorović.
The ceremony was also attended by businessmen and representatives of the Croatian Camping Association, which for years has awarded a special prize to the best participant of the program. This year's winner is Mr. Igor Černigoj from Valamar Riviera d.d.

The ceremony was enriched by professors and lecturers from the field who participate in this unique lifelong learning program.
In addition to the diplomas, participants also received 10 ECTS credits upon successful completion of the program. The ceremonial promotion ended with a joint gathering of students, professors, lecturers and guests in the faculty garden.
In the last six years, 230 participants have successfully completed the MKR program. Most of the participants are leaders of successful summer camps, and some of the participants have opened well-known and successful summer camps such as Camp Plitvice, Camp Ugljan and others after participating in the program. So, it can be said that this educational program has made a great contribution to the overall quality of Croatian vacation camps. The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management continues its educational activities in the field of outdoor camping and hospitality. The first European study: "Master of Sustainable Outdoor Hospitality Management" is in the process of accreditation. It is a joint degree program with the University of Breda (Netherlands) and the University of Girona (Spain) that will train future owners and managers towards sustainable development and management of outdoor accommodation and destinations through study in three countries and practice in the best European campsites.
