Head of the Institute:

The institute consists of the following two departments:

The institute's work and development, as well as that of the departments that constitute it, relies on conveying modern theories and helping students acquire practical competences that will help them in their future jobs as managers in tourism and hospitality.

Although the institute operates from a very limited space, it enables students from both university degree and professional degree study programmes to participate in a direct and hands-on experience as consumers of some of the main hospitality services in the area of food and beverage, which is the basis for creating a recognizable brand on the national and international tourism market. Survey results among students show that this form of teaching is exceptionally interesting, appealing and that it enables students to fully master skills, practical knowledge and competences set out by the curriculum.

Issues related to accommodation and housekeeping are instructed through theory and a series of practical examples. Special emphasis is placed on applying modern techniques and technologies to these important departments of any big or small hospitality company.
