The Department of Work Organization in Hospitality pays special attention to examining issues related to organizational problems in hospitality. The department members strive to prepare the students to be able to recognize organizational issues under changing conditions and, as future managers, to be able to enforce efficient work organization activities in hospitality. Future advancement of the department will be achieved by cooperating with the economy, as a part of the Institute of Hospitality.

The fundamental activities of the department consist of teaching, scientific and professional activities by the department members. The department focuses on the significant area of work organization in hospitality, which is the focus of a large number of courses at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija.
