The importance of the institute is reflected in the fact that it primarily coordinates the work of its departments, and that it constantly strives to improve its curricula, as well as to cooperate with national and international professional organizations and the economy. Both the institute and the department focus on conducting teaching, scientific and professional activities. This is confirmed by the participation of department members in the scientific-research and professional projects as well as projects funded by EU.
Particular emphasis has been placed on fostering the improvement of the scientific-research, educational and professional activities of each department member.
