In addition to English, German, Italian and French, the introduction of Russian, Japanese, and Chinese as an elective subject at the initial level is foreseen in the near future.

The Department of foreign languages in business has always been trying to keep track of the latest achievements in the field of foreign language teaching methodology, with particular reference to the specificities of the language of the profession, and to implement these achievements in new curricula. By taking into account innovations in the process of learning and teaching, foreign language teachers, with the use of modern teaching approaches and resources, despite the small fundraising hours, succeed in motivating students and enabling them to communicate in hospitality and tourism. The faculty is equipped with networked personal computers that enable students an interactive learning of foreign languages. For this purpose, teaching materials have been developed for students, with the use of distance learning, available on the Internet.

Within the Department of foreign languages in business, study trips to Germany and Italy were organized so that students could learn about the elements of culture and civilization of countries whose languages they are learning.
