applications for ERASMUS+ or CEEPUS student mobility for the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija are officially open! We warmly invite you to apply.

Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management is a highly respected institution of higher education for tourism, hospitality industry and sustainable development in the Republic of Croatia and in the wider region. As part of the University of Rijeka, our Faculty offers various courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. List of all available courses can be found here.

One of the things we’re most proud of is the fact that in the winter semester of 2019/2020 academic year, our Faculty hosts the largest number of international students of the whole University, 39 of them. Studying at our Faculty, you’ll gain new insights from the area of Business Economics or Sustainable Development in Tourism and Hospitality and finally, you’ll get the chance to study at the faculty with the best view in the world (no words are necessary…just Google our position :))!

How to apply?

ERASMUS mobility application

In order to apply for admission at the University of Rijeka you need to fill in the Online Erasmus Application Form and upload all relevant documents:

• · Erasmus Application Form (filled in electronically and signed by student and sending institution coordinators)
• · Learning Agreement proposal (signed by student and sending institution coordinators)
• · Transcript of Records (in English language, signed by authorized persons)
• · Copy of Passport or ID card– 1 passport-size photo

Deadlines for Erasmus nomination/application: 10 November 2019.

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) mobility application

There are two types of mobility: mobility inside CEEPUS networks (network mobility) and mobility outside CEEPUS networks (freemovers). FTHM is taking part in two CEEPUs Networks:

• Network Title: "Amadeus" : coordinator: WU- Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria
• Network Title: "Education Without Frontiers" : coordinator: University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, Austria

Within the CEEPUS programme (memebrs country), scholarships are available for two categories of students: semestral students (minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 10 months in one cycle) and doctoral students who are working on their thesis (shorter stays are allowed). Duration of  one semestre at FTHM is atleast 4 months.

Deadlines for CEEPUS nomination/application:

• · Application for mobility in the Ceepus system. Deadline: October 31 (Mobility Nominations for Networks)
• · Application for mobility in the Ceepus system. Deadline: November 30 (Mobility Applications outside the networks - freemover)
