THE PROGRAM GOALS AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES, GENERAL AND SPECIFIC COMPETNCES, AND SKILLS KNOWLEDGE  WHICH WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY THE END OF THIS PROGRAM

  • Adopting professional terminology and grammatical structures used in oral and written business communication in tourism in English, German, Italian and / or French.

  • Developing communication competence in a specific foreign language in the area of business communication in tourism, with special regards to intercultural communication.

  • With completion of this program, participants will acquire the linguistic and cultural competence which is a prerequisite for oral and written business communication in the appropriate foreign language at B2 level and will be able to:

    • Hold business conversations with business partners in direct contact or by  telephone.
    • Independently read and write business letters that are most often used in business correspondence in tourism.
    • Link the theory and practice of intercultural communication in the business environment, distinguish personal misunderstandings from intercultural disagreements and avoid and resolve cultural misunderstandings.

     

PROGRAM DURTION
  • Each program is organized in a duration of 30 hours

     

NUMBER OF ECTS CREDITS
  • Upon completion of the program, participants will receive 3 ECTS credits after passing the final exam and will receive the appropriate certificate from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
