Faculty organized on 14.12.2018 a trip for international students studding at the faculty within the Erasmus and CEEPUS mobility programme in order for them to discover the natural beauty, as well as the historical and cultural heritage of our country and region. This year, international students visited Advent in Zagreb.
The Faculty has recognized the importance of internationalization of higher education institutions and special attention is paid to student mobility. Twenty-four students coming from Erasmus+, Ceepus and other mobility programs from Finland, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Latvia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Sweden, Italy, Germany etc. are going to spend winter semester at our faculty in 2018. Faculty traditionally on the first day of semester organized for international students Welcome Day, where students get detailed information on different aspects of living in this region and studying at FMTU, University of Rijeka.
Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality organizes every semester a trip for international students studding at the faculty within the Erasmus and CEEPUS mobility programme in order for them to discover the natural beauty, as well as the historical and cultural heritage of our region.
This year, international students visited the golden island of Krk. In the town of Krk they saw the former Roman municipium and the headquarters of the Dukes of Frankopan. They also visited the Square Kamplin with the adjacent castle and tower, the Cathedral of St. Quirinal, the Baroque dome of the bell tower, as well as the City Hall.
