Tourism Marketing study programme teaches the students how to communicate successfully with the tourism market in order to find the way of the tourism product towards a customer, how to evaluate the tourism product and to guarantee its better position on the competitive tourism market. The programme is geared towards the education of future managers in tourism, hospitality, hotel industry and public sector. The emphasis is put on the development of specific knowledge, skills and competences in the field of marketing in tourism.

Aim of the study programme
The aim of the study programme is to train students to perform business activities of the marketing manager in tourism, hospitality and public sector, as well as other business sectors.
Competences acquired upon study completion
- Knowledge command in the field of tourism and marketing in tourism;
- Ability to carry out market research and to identify new trends in tourism and hospitality;
- Ability to independently manage complex communication and other marketing activities in tourism;
- Ability to apply information-communication technology in business;
- Ability to analyze and interpret the key marketing activity indicators;
- Ability to design a marketing strategy in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourist destination and an integral tourist product;
- Independence in performing business activities related to events and specific forms of tourism;
- Taking over the team and personal responsibility for creating the project proposal and realizing the project idea.
Upon completion of this study programme, students will develop general competencies such as the ability of abstract thinking, critical thinking, generating new ideas, identifying and solving problems, planning and managing time, continuous learning, work independence, and other skills.

The programme of this graduate study is designed to provide relevant knowledge for performing marketing activities in tourism sector, which in contemporary conditions have to be developed in accordance with the modern trends in tourism. Accordingly, this profile of the Master of Economics can take important positions in tourist boards, tourist organizations, tourist agencies, tourist associations, in the hotel industry, restaurant business, as well as in education, communal systems, media, all selective forms of tourist offer, accompanying industries, financial institutions, accounting and control services and other organizations which for specific marketing knowledge is expected.
