It is our great honor and pleasure to inform you about the program and lecturers of the first Wave for Tourism (W4T) student conference of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Rijeka, which will be held from 30 September to 3 October 2021.
The W4T student conference is organized with the aim of gathering students and other interested individuals to encourage transfer of knowledge and connect future leaders. The conference deals with issues of tourism, hospitality, marketing, management and sustainable development.
This year's conference lasts four days and includes four sessions within which prominent experts and lecturers will give their lectures.
Enrollment in lifelong learning programs

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management Opatija, as a unique educational institution in the Republic of Croatia, continues to offer the following lifelong learning programs:
- Food and beverage (F&B) specialist 11th generation in ac. yr. 2021/2022 - enrollment quota of 50 participants
- Sommelier in enogastronomy - enrollment quota of 50 students
- Bartender - enrollment quota of 30 participants
- Barista - enrollment quota of 30 participants
The deadline for applying for the selected program and confirming enrollment is 15 October 2021.

ToSEE 2021 International Scientific Conference

Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, University of Rijeka organizes and invites you to the sixth international scientific conference ToSEE 2021 (https://tosee.fthm.hr/)
This year's conference will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2021 at the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, University of Rijeka.
ToSEE – Smart, Experience, Excellence & ToFEEL – Feelings, Excitement, Education, Leisure
The purpose of the conference is to present new achievements and research results in the field of experience, excellence, and smart tourism and to explore and promote the role of education and leisure, as well as technology in creating tourism experiences and feelings. As the areas of conference topics (https://tosee.fthm.hr/conference-topics) cover several areas and disciplines, we believe that they will be very interesting and contribute to the global debate on this topic.
Plenary topics of the lecture will be given by world-famous and recognized scientists prof. Dimitrios Buhalis and prof. Stanislav Ivanov. (https://tosee.fthm.hr/conference-program/keynote-speakers)
As part of the conference, a doctoral workshop will be held (https://tosee.fthm.hr/phd-workshop) led by prof. Peter Mason.
Taking care of security, online participation is possible for all participants who will not be able to attend the conference in person.
Accepted and presented papers will be published in electronic form in Proceedings with ISSN reference and indexed in Clarivate Analytics - Web of Science Core Collection - Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities, CABI publishing, EconLit, EBSCO, ProQuest.
