One of the biggest charity campaigns traditionally organized in October and November by the Croatian Red Cross has started under the name SOLIDARITY IN ACTION 2021 (SOLIDARNOST NA DJELU 2021: “NE DVOJI ! ZA DRUGOG IZDVOJI”).

We would like to inform you that a SOLIDARITY IN ACTION 2021 fundraising campaign will be organized by the Croatian Red Cross at our Faculty (ground floor, building A) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 9am to 2pm. Our students will be volunteers, collect contributions and give out THANK YOU NOTES certified by the Red Cross Opatija.

We thank you in advance for participating in the SOLIDARITY IN ACTION 2021 fundraising campaign and helping those in need.

We are extremely honored and pleased to inform you that, to celebrate World Tourism Day, September 27, 2021, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management will have a series of activities during September and October, thus achieving its strategic direction of knowledge dissemination. These activities will also point out the need for tourism in Croatia to become sustainable, smart and responsible, but also the importance of this year's theme - Tourism for inclusive growth.

The Faculty will celebrate the World Tourism Day by organizing the following activities:

  2. ROUND TABLE KVARNER: SUSTAINABLE TOURIST DESTINATION - Investments in the hotel industry to the goal COOPERATION WITH TZ KVARNER
  3. LECTURE OF FMTU STUDENTS TO HT SCHOOL STUDENTS ON THE TOPIC NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF PLASTIC ON TOURISM
