Contracts signed to finance first ZIP FMTU projects

On December 2, 2021, in the Great Hall of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the first four contracts were signed for funding scientific research projects of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management under the ZIP FMTU project line.
In addition to the existing sources of funding for scientific research projects, FTHM has launched this new project line this academic year, which the Faculty finances with its own resources in order to strengthen the scientific research project activities and achieve the strategic goals of the Faculty and University.
Researchers can submit proposals for their research projects in any odd month of the year within a fast and flexible funding system.
FTHM Volunteers Successfully Carried out another “Solidarity in Action 2021” Fundraising Campaign

On December 6, 2021 FTHM volunteers successfully carried out another humanitarian fundraiser "Solidarity in Action 2021 - Do not hesitate for another!" organized by the Croatian Red Cross. It took place at our Faculty and funds were collected for the social self-service of the Red Cross of Opatija.
Thank you to all who opened their hearts and participated in the humanitarian action, because it is always good to do good!
Agreement signed between FTHM and the Faculty of Economics with the aim of joining the Digital Library project

On 29 October 2021, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Faculty of Economics signed an agreement with the aim of joining the Digital Library project of the Faculty of Economics.
Dean of the Faculty Sandra Janković, Ph.D., Full Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Jurica Pavičić, Ph.D., Full Professor signed the agreement. The EFZG Digital Library is an online collection of digital materials (monographs, articles, papers...). This collaboration will enable our students, research and teaching staff and other FTHM employees to use all the entire e-material of the Digital Library.
The possibilities of cooperation in applying for joint projects were discussed, but also the support of the Faculty of Economics - Zagreb in the accreditation of our Faculty by EPASA and the international AACSB Accreditation as the highest standard of achievement for higher education institutions offering programs in business and global economics.
Agreement Between the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Rotary Club Opatija

On 24 November 2021, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Rotary Club Opatija signed an agreement with the aim of establishing a long-term cooperation between the Faculty and the Rotary Club, to secure funds and other donations for the Fund for Scholarships for Talented Students of the Faculty and to promote excellence in tourism.
The signing took place at the Faculty in the presence of Dean Sandra Janković, Ph.D., Full Professor, Vice Dean for Business Relations Romina Alkier, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Mr. Oliver Kamenečki.
