Decision of the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia

On 12 November 2021, the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia issued a Decision on the introduction of a special security measure of mandatory testing of civil servants, employees and officials in public services, civil servants and employees in local and regional self-government and employees of companies and institution (NN 121/2021), which enters into force on 16 November 2021.
According to Article V of the Decision, the obligation to present an EU digital COVID certificate or other appropriate evidence of vaccination, illness or testing applies to all parties coming to the official premises where the employees of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management work, to all service providers who provide various services in these premises or are hired for certain jobs in these premises, or to other persons coming to the premises of the Faculty on any basis (contacts phone: 051 294-706, email: This email address is being protected from spambots. This Decision does not apply to students of the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality during their stay in the premises of the Faculty, unless the Faculty decides otherwise.

The Meetup is for anyone who wants to hear his story. It is part of the program of the HUB, which operates within the Regional Competence Centre of the Hospitality School Opatija. Its main goal is to the exchange of experiences and useful information between entrepreneurs and those who want to become one

Learning Chinese and traditional Chinese arts

In addition to the accredited lifelong learning programs offered by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Chinese (Chinese for Tourism for Beginners, Business Communication in Chinese for Beginners), this year a cooperation was established with Cangzhou Normal University (CNU) within which Chinese language learning + learning traditional Chinese skills courses are offered (Kungfu, traditional Chinese art of drawing, paper processing and music).
The programs would be free for all participants and would be held ONLINE (2-3 times per week, starting in November 2021).
Participants who complete the program would receive a CNU certificate (but no ECTS credits for now).
CNU is a national center for Chinese language promotion and a national center for martial arts training.

Voluntary Blood Donation Event on 20 October 2021

we would like to inform you that the Red Cross Opatija and the Clinical Institute of Transfusion Medicine KBC Rijeka will hold a voluntary blood donation event at our Faculty on Wednesday, 20 October 2021. It will take place in the library from 8.30 to 11 am.
You can become a voluntary blood donor very easily, you just have to make the decision that you want to donate blood and save lives.
