Sažetak
|
HR: Nedostatak energije i nesigurnost u opskrbi energijom, stalan rast cijena energije, te klimatske promjene i zagađenje okoliša zbog neracionalne potrošnje energije, problemi su s kojima je svjetski i hrvatski turizam danas suočen više nego ikada prije. Porastom standarda života, raste i potrošnja kako toplinske energije za grijanje, tako i energije za hlađenje, posebno masovnim uvođenjem klimatizacije u sve vrste turističkih objekata. Energija koja se potroši u zgradama čini 41,30 % ukupne finalne potrošnje energije te je u stalnom porastu (EIHP). Predmet ovoga istraživanja fokusira se na hotelsku industriju kao važan dio turističkoga sektora koji ima utjecaj na mnoge segmente funkcioniranja društva poput kretanja gospodarske aktivnosti, zaposlenosti, poduzetništva itd. Cilj projekta je istražiti da li poslovni rezultat većih hotelskih poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj utječe na uvođenje mjera sustavnoga gospodarenja energijom, odnosno na uvođenje obnovljivih izvora energije, energetsku učinkovitost, planiranje, organiziranje i kontrolu troškova energije. Za provedbu empirijskoga dijela istraživanja koristit će se financijski podaci preuzeti iz Financijske agencije (FINA), koji će se obrađivati putem panel analize. U cilju utvrđivanja povezanosti između poslovne uspješnosti i ulaganja u energetsku učinkovitost, dodatni korak ovoga istraživanja predstavlja analiza stanja u hotelima metodom ispitivanja menadžera hotela. Prema dosadašnjim istraživanjima mnogi autori ispitivali su stavove najvišeg poslovodstva u vezi zaštite okoliša (Bogdanowitz 2008, Lund 2010, Marques, Fuinhas 2011), međutim zapažen je nedostatak istraživanja na temu gospodarenja energijom u turizmu. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata teorijskoga i empirijskoga istraživanja predložit će se model energetski održivoga uspješnog hotela što predstavlja znanstveni doprinos ovoga projekta. Predloženi će model dati smjernice turističkom menadžmentu kako na ekološki način ostvariti uspješan poslovni rezultat.

EN: Shortage of energy and uncertainty in energy supply, continuous increase of energy prices and energy generating products, in addition to climate changes and environmental pollution caused by non-sustainable energy use, are the evolving problems that the world tourism as well as Croatian tourism faces. Better living standard contributes to an increase in energy demand for heating and cooling purposes, especially as a consequence of massive installations of air conditioning appliances in different tourist facilities. The share of energy consumption in buildings in total energy consumption amounts to 41% and is constantly being increased (EIHP). This research focuses on the hotel industry as an important part of the tourist sector with the impact on various social segments such as economic activity, employment, entrepreneurship, etc. The main objective of this research project is to examine if the business performance of larger Croatian hotel companies influences the implementation of measures for sustainable energy management, i.e. diffusion of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, planning and controlling energy costs. Data used for the empirical part of this research will be collected from the financial agency FINA and analysed by using panel data techniques. In order to determine the relationship between business performance and energy efficiency investments, within this research hotel managers will be interviewed aimed at getting the information on the relevant topics related to energy issues. The literature review shows that different authors were investigating the top management's attitude towards the environmental protection, however a lack of research on energy management in tourism was noticed. Based on the theoretical and empirical results emerging from the analysis, the model of an energy efficient and energy sustainable hotel will be proposed, which is at the same time the main scientific contribution of this project. The proposed model would provide the guidelines for tourism management on how to achieve successful business results in an environmentally friendly way.
