|
HR: Globalizacijski procesi polaze od premise slobode kretanja ljudi, roba i kapitala s ciljem transformiranja nerazvijenih gospodarstava u moderna potrošačka društva. Događanja u svijetu nameću turizam, terorizam i migracije kao geopolitičke teme rješavanja odnosa razvijenih zemalja i zemalja u razvoju. Terorizam negativno utječe na turizam smanjujući tako mogućnost generiranja novčanih tokova, posebice zemalja u razvoju. Istovremeno terorizam je jedan od glavnih pokretača migracijskih tokova. Imigranti u novim domovima stječu ekonomsku neovisnost neophodnu za uključenje u turističke tokove. Studije dokazuju da imigracija pozitivno utječe na broj turističkih dolazaka (VFR hipoteza). Obzirom na nedostatak teorijskih i empirijskih istraživanja vezanih uz problematiku stvaranja poveznice između turizma, terorizma i migracija, te značaja koje ovi pojmovi imaju na cjelokupnu kvalitetu života, istraživači vide nužnost provedbe jednoga takvog istraživanja. Cilj istraživanja je istražiti i analizirati utjecaj migracija na terorizam i turizam kao spone globalnih geopolitičkih odnosa razvijenih zemalja i zemalja u razvoju. Istraživanje se temelji na glavnoj hipotezi koja tvrdi da migracije predstavljaju sponu između turizma i terorizam. Očekuje se da će rezultati istraživanja biti primjenjivi u teorijskom smislu kroz unaprjeđenje teorijsko utemeljene spoznaje o migracijama kao sponi između turizma i terorizma te u aplikativnom smislu kroz razradu adekvatne i sveobuhvatne metodologije empirijskoga istraživanja potencijalnoga utjecaja turizma i terorizma na migracije, ali i prepoznavanje osnovnih odrednica koje uz terorizam i turizam utječu na migracijske odluke.

EN: Globalization processes are based on the premise of the free movement of people, goods and capital with the aim of transforming underdeveloped economies into modern consumer societies. Events in the world impose tourism, terrorism and migration as geopolitical topics for solving the relationship between developed and developing countries. Terrorism negatively affects tourism, thus reducing the possibility of generating cash flows, especially for developing countries. At the same time, terrorism is one of the main drivers of migration flows. Immigrants in new homes acquire economic independence necessary for the inclusion in tourist flows. Studies show that immigration has a positive impact on the number of tourist arrivals (VFR hypothesis). Given the lack of theoretical and empirical research related to the issue of creating linkages between tourism, terrorism and migration, and the significance of these concepts to the overall quality of life, researchers see the necessity of carrying out one such research. The aim of the research is to explore and analyze the impact of migration on terrorism and tourism as the links of global geopolitical relations between developed and developing countries. The research is based on the main hypothesis that migration is a nexus between tourism and terrorism. The results of the research are expected to be applicable in theoretical sense by improving the theoretically-based understanding of migration as a link between tourism and terrorism and in the application sense through the development of an adequate and comprehensive methodology of empirical research of potential tourism and terrorism impact on migration, alongside with other key factors which besides terrorism and tourism, affect migration decisions.
